Tool Library Builds Presence In St. John’s
Ever start a "do it yourself" garden or home reno project only to run into a situation where you need some type of tool but don't want to shell out the money to buy it for a single use? There's now a means to acquire said tool without making the big purchase.
The St. John's Tool Library allows people to borrow such items for a nominal fee, and keep them for up to seven days.
Tools are donated to the library, but founder Ian Froude is running out of space to store the tools.
He's launching a crowdfunding campaign so that the library can move into a community space, and open the doors to the public.
